(Undated) -- November is national "Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month." This has the medical community urging the public to get educated about this disease. Experts say pancreatic cancer doesn't usually present until the cancer is in the advanced stages, but there are symptoms such as itching that can be an indicator. The American Cancer Society predicts that more than 38-thousand people in the United States will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this year.
